Hay Making is another traditional and very popular event which takes place on the last weekend of May.
The event is mainly focused on grass which surrounds the Church of St. Catherine and the Monastery and also on the permanent grasslands reaching its height peak usually in May.
On Saturday, works as mowing, brush cutting and grass harvesting take place, while Sunday is reserved for various kinds of action adventures.
However, there is no lack of spiritual activities as traditional worshiping or Sunday Holy Mass (taking place sometimes even on Saturday evening).
The event is open for anybody, however, it is necessary to sign up in advance.
