Another event Katarínka is involved in is known as Churches at night or in Slovak Noc kostolov.
The aim of the event is to offer each visitor entering the Church of St. Catherine a possibility to get a positive experience with Christianity and to experience a unique atmosphere among the ruins of the church. Taking part in the event Churches at night offers exceptional way of viewing the active Christianity. Given that Katarínka is located within the Small Carpathians Nature Reserve, it is necessary for the visitors to park in the appointed parking lot right under the forest.
The visitors can reach the Katarínka ruins following the forest trail marked by lights and quotation plaques. After they reach the place, they can experience the mysterious atmosphere among the ruins enlightened by candles, torches and oil lamps.
